Candida resources, Candida test

The bar chart above represents the results of a USP "Challenge Test". This test was done in the laboraory, a culture of Candida Albicans is innoculated with a small amount of bacillus laterosporus BOD from Flora Balance. The chart shows the remaining amount of candida remaining over a period of 28 days.

At the end of 28 days only .19 % of the yeast is left showing that Flora Balance (bacillus laterosporus BOD) has reduced it by a factor of 500, there is less than 1/500 th of it left after 28 days. Because this is an In Vitro test, i.e. done in the laboratory, it does not conclusively show that there will be the same results in someones digestive tract. However, the great results reported from thew many thousands of individuals using Flora Balance for candida control over the past 20+ years are consistent with this test.

Other factors that are important for control include diet, immune system enhancement and stress reduction. Stress is very often a major factor, fortunately one that can be managed, see stress control for candida.
